Curtains dancing to the Breeze
Continued from Black Sheets and The Sea
He had walked away into the darkness, but he hadn’t walked far. Standing close to the curtains, looking out into the night, the moonlight framed his every move. She wondered where his thoughts lay, whether he was here in this very room or miles away, lost in thought. Slowly she gathered the black silk sheets and raised her legs over the bed and let her toes touch the floor. She slowly ascended off the bed, her curls lapping on her back, and the sheets making soft sounds as she slowly tiptoed towards him. He didn’t hear approach him. She stopped moving towards him, and watched him for a second, the moonlight glistening in his eyes. Then she moved further, her hand touching his shoulder, beckoning him to turn towards her.
As he slowly turned around, he slipped a hand around her waist, and pulled her closer, enveloping her in an embrace that meant the world to her. Feeling secure and warm, she knew this was where she wanted to be, in his arms, listening to the beating of his heart. After what felt like years, he slackened his embrace and looked deep into her eyes. She raised her chin, and looked at him with pure emotion, an emotion you could never describe, because her face showed many. From adoration, to love, to pure happiness, her mind could not pinpoint where that emotion stood. While staring deep into his eyes, she raised her toes, and on tiptoe she turned her chin upward to meet his closed lips. As she touched his lips with hers, his hand moved to her face, cupping them and turning them further up, to feel completely.
Standing on her toes, she leaned on his chest for support. Slowly, yet steadily, he lay butterfly kisses on her lips. Pecking her, arousing the yearning in her to be kissed deeper, longer, and stronger. As he continued being a perpetual tease, she opened her lips to attempt to open his, longing to feel his tongue. But he wouldn’t let her, yet he kissed her harder, and slowly kissed her cheeks, moving further down to reach her ears, where he whispered sweet nothings and blew gently, sending adoring chills down her spine, making her shudder in delight.
Moving further down to her neck, he traced her vein from her ear to the nape of her neck. Kneading the skin on her neck, carefully, not wanting to hurt her, leaving her dizzy with a fleeting moan.
